LABORATORY ANALYST

  • Conduct chemical analysis and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure these meet specifications and standards
  • Use various analytical techniques and instruments to perform laboratory tests
  • Analyze test results and report findings to the Quality Manager
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Maintaining and operating laboratory equipment
  • Perform routine laboratory equipment calibrations to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure timely completion of laboratory tests
  • Document all activities, results and observations in accordance with laboratory procedures
  • Ensure that all laboratory procedures and processes are in compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g. cGMP, ISO, FDA)
  • Prepare and review documentation, including laboratory notebooks, SOPs, and test protocols
  • Organize laboratory supplies
  • Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field
  • Experience with chromatography (e.g. GC, HPLC), spectroscopy and other analytical techniques
  • Experience in a GMP or GLP laboratory environment
  • Knowledge of cGMPs, SOPs, and industry regulations and standards (e.g. ISO, FDA)
  • Strong understanding of chemical analysis and testing methods
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate analytical data
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Attention to detail and strong observational skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
