Logistics Associate

As Logistics Associate you support the
company's purchasing of raw materials, stock items, equipment, machinery,
tools, parts and supplies, and assist with the execution of import and export
activities.
- Logistics Operations Coordination
• Execute and follow up on daily logistics activities to support the efficient operation of the department.
• Coordinate container unloading and export shipment loading activities with warehouse personnel.
• Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely processing and delivery. - Import & Customs Administration
• Prepare and process customs documentation for imported goods, including duty-free imports and customs clearance requirements.
• Assist with collecting and submitting invoices to freight forwarders for inbound shipments.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and documentation standards. - Export Logistics & Customer Coordination
• Prepare customs and shipping documentation for export orders.
• Coordinate sea and air freight bookings for export shipments.
• Communicate shipping details and documentation requirements to customers.
• Maintain export-related reports and records. - Inventory, Purchasing & Cost Control Support
• Enter purchase orders into the production system and maintain accurate inventory planning data (EOQ).
• Verify received goods against supplier invoices and ordered quantities.
• Prepare cost price calculations and supporting files for received goods. - Administrative & Operational Support
• Maintain accurate logistics records and documentation to support financial control and business operations.
• Provide administrative support to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to meet organizational needs.

Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years' experience with inventory control and supply chain (logistics) processes.
• Experience with suppliers and purchasing processes.
Requirements & certifications
• Able to work flexible hours when required.
Technical skills
• Knowledge and experience with bookkeeping and relevant software is a strong asset.
