Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and coordinates maintenance activities at our factory and stores. This role leads a team of Maintenance Assistants to ensure all equipment and systems are properly maintained, supporting operational efficiency and safety standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will also perform operational maintenance tasks as needed

  • Lead and manage a team of Maintenance Assistants, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of machinery, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and mechanical systems.
  • Identify maintenance issues, diagnose problems, and implement timely solutions to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment, tools, and spare parts inventory.
  • Enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulatory requirements through regular inspections.
  • Assist in developing maintenance budgets and monitor expenses to ensure efficient resource use.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for specialized maintenance services.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of maintenance activities and provide regular performance reports to management.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems with effective troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills to develop a high-performing maintenance team.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications and email.
  • MBO diploma or equivalent relevant experience required; additional technical certifications or training preferred.
