Research & Development Assistant

The R&D Assistant supports the R&D department in daily operations. This role involves assisting the R&D
Manager with product development tasks, laboratory testing, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

- Ensure all daily R&D documentation is completed, accurate, and properly filed.
- Support all activities within the R&D department.
- Prepare, collect, and/or create documents required for regulatory compliance in Aruba and other markets.
- Review product packaging artwork to ensure accuracy.
- Assist the R&D Manager with product development work, laboratory testing, and related technical tasks.
- Proficiency in English, Dutch, and Papiamento (spoken and written).
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively.
- Organized, professional, and able to work efficiently under time constraints.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions carefully.
- MBO level education in Chemistry or a relevant field.
- Affinity with chemistry is an advantage.
- Good communication abilities across departments.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to interpret laboratory test results.
- Willingness to learn and continuously develop skills.
